Front Driveshaft Assembly. The Front Driveshaft Assembly provides a critical connection between the transmission and the front axle for 4WD vehicles. It converts rotational power from the transfer case into motion at the front wheels, enabling effective off-road and on-road performance. This driveshaft is designed to improve serviceability with serviceable U-joints that facilitate maintenance and extend shaft life.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed entirely from steel, this driveshaft is newly manufactured with precise factory balancing to ensure smooth operation. It features a robust 2.5-inch diameter shaft with a 0.083-inch wall thickness and a durable finish suitable for the rigors of lifted Jeep Wranglers. Both ends have bolt-on connections for secure installation, and the shaft includes constant velocity joints for smooth power delivery.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, as the driveshaft comes pre-assembled, factory balanced, and ready to install. Its overall length is adjustable to accommodate lifts from 0 to 6 inches, making it suitable for modified Jeep Wrangler JK models.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2012 through 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK models with 4-wheel drive systems and lift heights up to 6 inches. This product includes a new transfer case yoke and is a 1310 series conversion shaft compatible with the JK platform during these years.
