Barricade Go Topless Day 2026

We are once again pleased to support Barricade Go Topless Day® on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The 19th annual event is a worldwide tradition for the Jeep community to celebrate the start of Spring by taking off their Jeep tops.

More than 495+ events took place worldwide in 2025. Events ranged from 4x4 and trail cleanups to Jeep parades to show and shines. Over the years tens of thousands of Jeepers have participated in the various Barricade Go Topless Day® celebrations, collectively raising more than $1.4 million for charity.

It is anticipated that this year’s Barricade Go Topless Day® will be an equally successful event. We ask all to have a fun, safe and responsible celebration!  Thank you for your support.

When It Started

Go Topless Day® kicked off in 2007 as a simple idea shared by Jeep enthusiasts. Take the tops off, hit the road or trail, and celebrate the start of spring together.

What began as a small gathering quickly caught on. Jeep owners across the country started joining in, turning it into an annual tradition built around open-air freedom and community. Today, Barricade Go Topless Day® is the original Jeep Go Topless Day® event, proudly owned and organized by ExtremeTerrain.

Why It Started

At its heart, Go Topless Day® is about bringing Jeep owners together. It’s a celebration of open-air driving, off-road adventure, the Jeep lifestyle, and the people who make this community what it is.

No matter where you’re from or what you drive, if you’re part of the Jeep world, you’re part of this. Every year, tens of thousands of Jeep owners across the country (and beyond) remove their tops on the same day to share that experience together. And it keeps growing every year. What started as a grassroots idea has grown into the largest one-day Jeep community event in the world.

Barricade partners with Jeep clubs to help local communities.

Go Topless Day® isn’t just about getting outside... it’s about giving back.

Giving back to the community and those in need is something that we at Barricade take pride in. Barricade encourages all clubs and events to raise money for their local charity of choice. For each event that raises at least $500 for their local 501(c)(3) charity, Barricade will $500 to that same charity.

Together, the Jeep community has raised significant funds and supported causes that matter... All while doing what we love. Since 2019, Barricade and our Go Topless Day events around the world have been able to work together to raise more than $1.4 million for local charities.

Charities that were supported through this event include Alex’s Lemonade Stand, The Wounded Warrior Project, Make-A-Wish Foundation and hundreds more.
