Reliable Fuel Pump. The Mechanical Fuel Pump is a solid replacement part for your Jeep Wrangler YJ that delivers consistent diaphragm-driven fuel pressure. It can be used in conjunction with a pressure regulator for engines requiring higher-PSI fuel delivery, and comes in both front and rear inlet mounting options.
Seamless Integration. The Mechanical Fuel Pump is supplied with a sealing gasket to fit tightly at the rear or front mounted inlet of your Wrangler YJ. Once attached, the fuel pump works reliably off your Wrangler YJ engine's crankshaft and requires no maintenance.
Tough Material Construction. The Mechanical Fuel Pump is manufactured using corrosion-resistant materials and a durable fatigue-resistant pump lever arm. The unit is capable of reliably supplying fuel via diaphragm pressurization even under severe engine load, so you know you can count on it when the going gets tough.
Technical Note. When installing a new fuel pump, you should check that the fuel filter is in good condition to prevent your new pump from prematurely degrading or blocking due to poor fuel filtration. Before starting work, always ensure your vehicle is on level ground with the tires chocked and the battery disconnected.
