Description
Get Your Wheels Turning. There’s no getting around it. A damaged rear axle shaft means you’re not going to be taking on the trails until you find a replacement. You’ll be delighted to hear that you can avoid expensive dealership prices with Crown Automotive’s Jeep Wrangler Axle Shaft Assembly. Made to fit your vehicle’s rear Dana 44 axle, this shaft has 30 inner axle splines. Its (5) 4.5-Inch wheel studs also ensure the shaft is connected securely to ensure stability when you go off-road.
OEM Standards. Crown Automotive made its name on building quality components made to OEM standards. That’s what you get here with a tough rear axle shaft made using heavy-duty steel. The part comes unpainted.
Bolt-On Installation. You receive most of the hardware needed for installation, including studs, seals, and bearings. You can also use your stock hardware to mount this part. Professional help is recommended, particularly for those who don’t have experience with disassembling axles.
Variable Protection. Covered for either 1 Year or 12,000 miles, this part can be returned in cases of material defects or issues with workmanship. Limitations related to user damage apply with this warranty so read it in full to understand all of its exclusions.
Application. The Jeep Wrangler Axle Shaft Assembly is designed for installation into the 2003-2005 models of the Jeep Wrangler that have 4 wheel disc brakes. It’s not compatible with versions of the vehicle that have ABS braking.
Installation Difficulty. The automotive knowledge needed to work on a vehicle’s axles places installation at the expert level. DIYers should reserve 2-4 hours to fit the part themselves.
