      Hey, guys. It's Sara with extremeterrain.com and today, we have a review and install of the Barricade Tubular Rock Sliders fitting your '18 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL four-door. These sliders feature a heavy-duty tubular stainless steel construction with a textured black powder coat finish. These rock sliders provide protection to your Jeep without sacrificing ground clearance because they don't have a bar underneath like you see with some other rock sliders. They also double as a step for easy entry with their gusseted step pad.Coming in at around $320, these are middle of the road price-wise, but you are getting the durability and clearance of the slider with the convenience of a step which comes in handy, especially if your Jeep is lifted. I'm giving this install one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. These sliders feature a direct bolt up install with no drilling required and can be done in approximately two hours. With that said, let's jump right into our install.For this install, we used: An impact gun and an 18-millimeter socket.All right. So, the first step in our install is to remove the three body bolts that are gonna hold on our rock slider. Grab an 18-millimeter and let's get these out. So, for the back two mounting points for our rock slider, we will reuse the factory hardware. However, for the front, we're gonna need to use the hardware that they've provided. Before you install your rock slider, grab this metal spacer and just slide it right in the front bracket. Now, we can get these installed. So, if this metal washer with this rubber sleeve on the outside fell off of your front mounting point, you will need to reinstall this as well. So, just set it in the bracket for your step with the rubber facing upwards so you can get it reinstalled. Using the provided hardware, get it through both the factory and our spacer that's included in the kit and then get it threaded up into the body of the Jeep. With an-18 millimeter socket, tighten this down. Reinstall the other two body bolts. Grab an 18-millimeter socket and tighten these down. Repeat that process on the other side.All right.
