The Apex Chassis 2.5-Ton Tie Rod and Drag Link Assembly is a full replacement steering component set designed to restore and enhance steering performance on select Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT 4WD models. This assembly ensures precise handling and durability under heavy load conditions, critical for maintaining vehicle control and safety.
High-Strength Materials. Constructed with DOM steel for both tie rods and drag links, and forged steel for the ends, this assembly offers exceptional strength and resistance to bending or fatigue. The components are engineered with precision, including exclusive ProLock washers to prevent rotation and jam nuts with integrated set screws to maintain tightness.
Installation Requirements. Installation requires drilling taper sleeves with a straight 7/8-inch drill bit, requiring basic metalworking skills and proper tools. The kit can be installed with either an under knuckle mount (standard) or an over knuckle mount option if a flip kit is used.
