Premium Drag Link Assembly. The Apex Chassis 2.5-Ton Drag Link Assembly without Flip Kit; Steel is a robust steering component designed to replace the original drag link for Jeep Wrangler JL (2018-2026) and Gladiator JT models. It ensures precise steering control by connecting the steering gear to the wheels, which is vital for safe vehicle handling, especially in off-road conditions. This assembly is engineered to handle high loads and maintain long-lasting durability.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed using SAE 1045 forged solid steel with CNC machining, the drag link features high-quality DOM steel tubing and forged steel ends for superior strength. Ball studs are made from induction heat-treated SAE 4140 chromoly for enhanced toughness. The assembly has a durable electrochemical e-coating finish to resist corrosion and includes CR rubber accordion boots for flexible, long-lasting protection.
Installation. Installation requires standard automotive tools and does not require any specialized drilling. The kit includes jam nuts with integrated set screws to firmly secure components, simplifying assembly and ensuring stable, long-lasting performance.

Application. Designed specifically for the 2018 to 2026 Jeep Wrangler JL, this drag link assembly is compatible with stock Dana 30 and Dana 44 front axles in a standard undermount configuration without flip kits. It is not suited for rock crawling applications due to the steel rods' susceptibility to bending under heavy impacts.
