      Description

      Complete Steering Upgrade. The Apex Chassis 2.5-Ton Tie Rod and Drag Link Assembly is a heavy-duty replacement steering system engineered to improve durability and steering accuracy for Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT models from 2018 to 2026. This kit replaces original equipment components to provide reliable, precise steering performance both on-road and off-road.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from SAE 1045 solid forged steel housings and SAE 4140 chromoly ball studs, the assembly benefits from CNC machining and induction heat treatment to deliver superior strength and precision. A black e-coated finish offers corrosion resistance, and protective CR rubber accordion boots help shield internal parts from contaminants and wear for long-lasting durability.

      Installation. Installation should be performed by experienced mechanics familiar with steering systems. For configurations with the flip kit option, drilling the knuckle drag link mount using a 7/8" drill bit is necessary. This kit is compatible with stock Dana 30 and Dana 44 narrow axles and wide Dana 44 axles with correct selection, without requiring major modifications.

      Warranty. The product includes a lifetime warranty covering manufacturer defects and premature wear under normal use. Note that impact damage from off-road rock crawling is not covered by the warranty.

      Application. Designed specifically to fit 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL models excluding Rubicon variants.
