UPGRADED STEERING SYSTEM. The Apex Chassis 1-Ton Steering Kit without Flip Kit for 0 to 3.50-Inch Lift; Black Aluminum offers a heavy-duty replacement steering solution for Jeep Wrangler JK models. Designed to enhance steering durability and performance, this kit replaces factory components with stronger forged steel ends and high-grade aluminum rods. It is ideal for drivers seeking upgraded steering reliability on lifted or stock factory suspensions.

CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This steering kit features 1.5” 7075-T6 aluminum rods with a black anodized finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal. The forged steel tie rod and drag link ends utilize SAE 1045 forged steel housing and SAE 4140 heat-treated chromoly ball studs for maximum strength. Components are CNC machined for precision fitment, and include greaseable, pre-threaded zerk fittings and accordion CR rubber boots for long service life.

INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward for experienced installers. When using the included taper sleeves for flip kit setups, a 7/8” hole must be drilled through the knuckle drag link mount to accommodate the hardware.

WARRANTY. The product comes with a lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects and premature wear under normal use.

APPLICATION. Specifically engineered to fit 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models, supporting lifts up to 3.5 inches without the Flip Kit. Flip Kit options are available for lifts over 3.5 inches and require additional modifications.
