Designed for harsh off-road conditions, it provides improved control and reduces steering issues such as flop and bent drag links. This upgrade is essential for Jeep JK owners seeking durability and precision in their steering systems.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features a drag link made from 1.5 inch by .250 wall DOM tubing and a tie rod constructed from heat-treated 1.5 inch by .188 wall 4130 chromoly steel, providing significantly more strength than stock components. Both parts have an abrasion-resistant powder coat finish that protects against corrosion and wear, ensuring a long-lasting, rugged appearance suited for off-road environments.
Installation. This kit is a 100% bolt-on solution that requires no drilling and installs easily with basic hand tools. The included drag link flip adapter allows seamless conversion to a high steer setup when relocating components to the top of the steering knuckle.
Application. Designed specifically for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK models, the kit accommodates factory and aftermarket JK axle housings. For lifts between 3-6 inches, a high steer configuration is necessary, requiring use of specialized track bar relocation brackets.
