Description
Specs. This kit from Alloy USA includes two axle halves, the front passenger side and front driver side section, plus the necessary hardware, including U-joints and full circle clips. Forged out of 4340 Chromoly alloy steel that is 30 percent stronger than factory 1040 steel axles, these axles have the robustness to stand up to all kinds of punishment, springing back into shape after severe torqueing rather than shattering. Heat-treated, tempered, and induction hardened, these axles are magnetically inspected for cracks before sale to ensure top quality. The splines are extra heavy duty and cold-rolled to make them tougher than machined splines. Note that this kit does not contain an ARB locker, and is either fitted to an existing locker or one bought separately.
Application. This kit fits 1987 – 1995 YJ Wranglers with the Dana 30 front axle.
