        5 2015 Wrangler - J Installation Time: Weekend

        Zone Offroad 3”. Lift

I put this lift on the Wife’s JK. Easy install took me a weekend as I was doing it by my self. Rides good on the road have not been on any trails yet. The Jeep looks a lot better.

Not perfect, but it's still great

If you are looking for a lift to level out your jeep, this is not the lift you want. This lift will maintain the factory specs and raise your jeep 3 inches, so you will still have the slight forward lean. This was a manufacturer (Zone Offroad) design characteristic to maintain OEM specs. Although I would have liked it leveled out, I decided to go with this lift for the quality, and the awesome warrantee. Allegedly, Zone Offroad will also go to bat for you if your dealer gives you any grief regarding OEM warrantee work. I would suggest going to their website to see what its all about. The lift was easy to install and the directions were pretty self-explanatory. A few things to be aware of when installing: The passenger side upper shock bolt location is difficult to get to, especially when putting on the new shocks. You may have/want to cut the plastic above the nut location for some extra room to work, because it is super tight in that area. You will also need wheel spacers if you are putting back on the stock wheels. You will also probably want some sort of exhaust spacer kit to avoid front drive shaft clearance problems. I would also suggest some type of geometry correcting brackets for better drivability. After the install, in noticed a few little quirks. As I mentioned earlier, the front end isn't quite leveled out and has a slight forward lean. There has been some driveline noise when turning, even though I have re-checked tightness on all bolts/nuts. This could be due to the overall geometry of the entire suspension system being changed and moved. The front wheels are slightly shifted to the left (The left-front wheel pokes out slightly further than the right-front). An adjustable track bar will fix this problem. The lift also does not come with a lengthened pitman arm, which I would suggest looking into getting due to the height of the lift. Also, the pictured product is not the product you will receive...Zone Offroad re-designed their springs and they do not look like the pictured product. Overall, I am happy with the lift and I think it looks good. The ride quality is a bit stiffer now and everything feels really solid. For the quality, I believe the price is awesome, especially when you probably should add a few more components. Quality control from Zone Offroad and their tech support is great, and will help you throughout the install process if you have any questions, or get stumped during the install. Expect a full day install if you are doing it by yourself with only a jack, jackstands, and just hand tools.

        Zone 3in Lift

This lift kit is pretty good for the price. I worked alongside a buddy and installed within a few hours. Everything necessary is included. I recommend purchasing the Cam Locks as well. I’ve had it on for 4 months and it has held up good.

        Great

I both daily drive and off-road my Jeep and this lift is great for both. It’s very comfortable on road and performs great off-road! Highly recommend. I would recommend to get a bigger tire than stock to help with stability during driving.

        Great Quality Lift Kit

I was looking for a lift kit to accommodate my 35” tires. I am not a hardcore off road guy. However, I want the option to go play in the trails with my Jeep club. This Zone lift kit fit my budget and served my goal. It was a straight forward installation with the clear instructions. Highly recommend a professional installation if one has no experience. Ride quality and looks improved! This was a great purchase!

        Zone off road lift kit

This lift kit was pretty easy going on. The only issues we came across was trying to get the front passenger side shock off. Other then that this is a good lift and it rides well and gives you just enough to put a 35s on.

        Great starting lift kit

The instructions on the kit were very clear and had no issue installing the lift. For a beginner lift this is awesome. Only wish it came with break line extensions but those can be bought separate!

I installed a 3 inch spacer lift, but now want to go to this. Right now the rear wheels are about 1.5 inches from the front corner of the wheel well. Will I have the same problem with this lift?
