Description
Get Some Cover. Switching to a one-piece axle may improve the performance of your Jeep. But it also leaves some gaps in your axle construction that you need to cover to ensure nothing goes wrong. That need to block off the gaps is served by Yukon’s Jeep Wrangler 4WD Disconnect Block Off Kit. Compatible with front Dana 30 reverse rotation axles that have 27 splines, this part covers the hole left when you remove your old vacuum motor. It prevents smog and other toxins from escaping the axle or causing issues within it.
Solid Construction. To ensure this kit stands the test of time, Yukon uses heavy-duty 4340 Chromoly steel. Strong and durable, this alloy steel improves corrosion resistance and offers a smoother ride.
Expert Installation Recommended. You will need this kit if you’re modifying your axle, meaning professional guidance is typically recommended. The kit comes with a block plate, gasket, and inner seals for installation.
Protected for 1 Year. Yukon offers a 1-Year warranty to guard against faults in materials and issues with craftsmanship. This warranty carries exclusions related to damage caused by the user through neglect, accidents, or poor installation.
Application. The Jeep Wrangler 4WD Disconnect Block Off Kit is designed for installation into Jeep Wrangler YJ vehicles made between 1987-1995. It enables conversion to a one-piece axle, meaning it is not used with your stock axle.
Installation Difficulty. Expert mechanical knowledge is required to fit this block off kit as the installation is part of an axle replacement. Expect to spend at least a couple of hours fitting this part.
