Jeep Wranglers are designed for tough terrain and rugged off-road trails. But every once and a while a driver encounters an unpaved path that is all but impassable. When your Jeep gets stuck, and it inevitably will if you take it off the pavement, you must have the right recovery gear to pull it to dry ground. Recovery straps are safe and reliable, but you must have something to attach them to. Tow hooks and d-rings can be mounted on any flat surface of your Wrangler's frame. More often than not, drilling is not necessary, since there are pre-drilled holes on the frame that can be used.
