The TMR Customs Tie Rod End Inserts; Taper provide a robust upgrade for steering components, specifically designed to accommodate over the knuckle steering and tie rod flip conversions. These inserts restore structural integrity by fitting into drilled out knuckle holes, allowing the use of factory-style tie rod ends, ensuring correct attachment with the original castle nut and cotter pin.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured in-house using CNC machining, the inserts are crafted from high-quality 1020 cold rolled steel. This material choice offers durability and strength required for demanding off-road applications, delivering a precise taper fit with a clean steel finish ready for welding.

      Installation. Installation requires drilling the existing knuckle hole to a 3/4 inch diameter. Welding the insert into place is necessary, making it a moderate difficulty task best suited for users with welding experience or access to professional installation.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit the 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ models, these inserts do not carry fitment notes or exclusions for this range.
