Leveling benefits. This leveling kit is specifically designed to provide just enough lift to level your JK 4 Door and gain an aggressive off road stance. You can easily use this kit to revive your Jeep from sag due to aftermarket bumper upgrades or extra weight due to a full sized upgraded spare. Off road you will gain improved handling and articulation from the extra ground clearance.

Bolt On Installation. This performance leveling kit is made from high quality materials and is fully bolt on. It installs quickly with the use of spring compressors, but we do recommend seeking professional installation. You'll have everything you need for a straightforward installation, including front extended sway bar links to prevent your factory sway links from holding down your lift.

Application. The TeraFlex 1.5 inch Performance Leveling Kit is designed for use on all 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 4 Door Models.

Front sway bar links, your video says to move the rear sway bars to the front and install the new ones at the back, it does not mention this on the manufacturer's instructions, please explain thank you Ian

    • The Teraflex Performance Leveling Kit does not have you move positions of sway bars or sway bar end links.

Does this kit require different shocks from factory? Does Teraflex have a shock that will work?

    • The Teraflex Performance Leveling Kit is designed to reuse your factory shocks. You could also use shocks rated for 0-2 inches of lift in the front and 0-1 inches of lift in the rear.

I see a previous answer that talks about longer shocks, if they wanted to install shocks at the same time. Are new and longer shocks required for this leveling kit?

    • Hello, the stock shocks will work fine with this kit, but if you are upgrading to new shocks, then you can look for shocks that are rated for 0-2 inches of lift in the front and 0-1 inches of lift in the rear.

Will this leveling kit work for a 17' JKU Sahara with the 18 inch stock wheels and a 295/70/r18 ridge grappler tire? - or - should I go with 285/70/r18? Thanks for fielding my questions.

    • A 285/70/17 or a 295/70/17 would be fine with theTeraflex Performance Leveling Kit in terms of overall size of the tire. Due to the width of both of those tire though we would suggest aftermarket wheels with the correct backspacing.

What is the largest size tire I can put on my '17 Sahara with this leveling kit and the factory wheels, without having to add wheel spacers? Thank you

    • The largest tire we would suggest with the Teraflex Performance Leveling Kit and factory wheels would be a 32x10 if you off road or a 33x10 for on road only driving.

How will this kit effect the ride quality? I have a 2106 Rubicon Hard Rock 4dr w/teraflex leveling spacers and Rancho rs9000 shocks. Thing rides like a WW2 sherman tank, will these make the ride better? Will it improve my on road ride experience at all? 1 answer
Hello, I have a 2013 JKU Sahara and I’m already running aftermarket rims and 33” tires. I have an aftermarket front bumper with winch and plan to add rear bumper with tire carrier later. I live in the Colorado mountains and this is just a daily driver, no off-roading but because it is CO I want to hit a bump and the undercarriage take the hit, instead of feeling every little thing inside the ride. Will this lift take care of that? I am also hoping with adding new shocks will help with this and with my death wobble. 1 answer

The "Spacer Leveling Kit" says that wheel spacers might be needed if using the factory wheels. This kit does not mention wheel spacers. Am I correct to assume this kit would not need wheel spacers with factory wheels? If not, why would the spacer kit need them? 1 answer

      Solid Kit gives great look

Great upgrade to factory springs and the rake is gone. Paired with 0-2" Eibach shocks. This is a daily driver so just wanted better look with stock wheels and rubber for now so no spacers needed for 17×9. Stiffer ride and less top roll at speed in bends. Only knock is what look like plastic bushings on new sway bars. I did not take exact measurements but it is about 1/2 to 3/4 inch taller over all climbing into driver side with stock bumpers. Very happy with look and product. I had a difficult time on install but that was not the product..this was my first time trying something more difficult that changing oil and the JK is 6 years old with all OEM gear @ 52k miles. Everything was rotten or rusted beyond belief (N E winters) had to cut old shocks out with grinder, break brackets shot etc.

      Fantastic

First thing...The delivery was extremely fast. As for the product. It gave my Jeep (2015, 4dr Sports) a different feel. Im not an off roader. I just wanted something a little bigger to make my Jeep look a little tougher! The lift did the trick. It looks and feels better, now all I need to do is get some shocks although not needed.

Exactly what we were looking for!

The TF Performance Leveling Kit worked out great, installed on our 2018 JKU for my wife’s daily. The springs with Fox IFP 2.0 shocks made the perfect ride height combined with her 33 KO2’s, she can get in/out perfectly and ride quality is awesome!

      Best product!

This this the best product ever If you’re not going to install any lift kit. Those springs are stiffer than the factory’s which improved the quality of the ride. Improve performance as well cause the jeep not bouncing all over the place. I have aftermarket shocks( falcon 3.0 0.2in and Teraflex wheel stabilizer) so I’m not too sure how this item will function with the factory shocks and stabilizer. To get the best out of them i would definitely suggest to change both factory shocks and wheel stabilizer. Now i enjoy driving my jeep Rubicon.

      Nice lift for 33” tires

I like the looks and the greater tongue weight capacity the heavier coils give me.....I don’t tie my boat far or fast but it does exceed the 3500# mopar tow limit. Jeep pulls it no problem (6speed). Only con is a rougher ride than stock but worth it

      Teraflex Leveling kit

Good option to consider for leveling your JK. If your considering an aftermarket heavier bumper with a winch, this kit is a good choice. This kit did not change how my JK handled on, or off road. I like it, as well as recommend it

      A Little Lift

Paired this kit with Fox shocks fronts and rear on my 2015 JKU HardRock. Level stance with metal bumpers and perfect for my 33” (mine is mostly a street machine). Jeep feels more controlled without feeling stiff. Far better ride than stock and definitely worth the investment. Install was easy and straight forward. Great choice for my setup.

      Awesome leveling kit!!

Wanted a little more height to run 33s and to get rid of the factory rake. Not doing any rock crawling, just beach running. Leveling kit is the perfect solution for an inexpensive but noticeable improvement in ride height. My JK looks great with the new clearance and ride quality is not noticeably different than stock. Great kit!!

      Perfect!

Great value and results. Paired with Fox 2.0 Shocks, 1.25” Coyote Wheel Spacers and Continental Terrain Contact A/T’s (275/70/18) on the OEM rims. Perfect stance, handles great and rides smooth. It is my daily driver and spends most of the time on pavement. Will follow up after my next off-road trip.

      Easy kit to install

Well I’ve just received the kit today and finished the rear installation, easy to install with floor jacks, jack stands, and basic tools (metric sockets, wrenches, 18,19, 20, 21) 5/8” for the shock bolts. The 09JK had a 3” lift kit on it when I purchased to, felt unbalanced so I’m trying this kit, so far so good, I’ll update when I finish the front.

So happy I went with this slightly more expensive option over just a body lift. Better ride quality, load bearing capability and good looks all in one package. Teamed with Fox 2.0 shocks for a nice package. Very happy!

      Teraflex Performance Leveling Kit

I'm no mechanic, so it took some time, planning, and watching a few YouTube videos of others to get these installed. My wife is short and frequently lifts our two-year old little boy in and out, so she didn't want a big lift. I did pinch my hand pretty good using some rented spring compressors from Autozone as my floor jack couldn't lift the Jeep any higher. If I can do it, someone with a little more experience and the right tools should have no problem.

I like the new stance of my Jeep

I installed the 4 door kit on my 2 door JK so I experienced just a little more lift or should I say a little less settle once the weight was back on the suspension. The ride quality is really close to original with on road being noticeably a little stiffer and off road much improved, I haven't hit the bump stops yet. The install went well considering 8 years of rusted bolts. Took me a day and a half to get it done, no lift, no impact tools. I am very happy so far.

This kit is great and everything it says is true. Gave my jeep a better stance and you can easily see how much higher it sits. Will definitely correct any sag you get from an aftermarket bumper and the jeep will even ride better.
