    I'm Ryan from ExtremeTerrain.com, and this is my review of the Teraflex Monster Front Forged Adjustable Trackbar for zero to six-plus inches of lift fitting all 2007 to 2016 JKs. There are a few reasons to buy a new track bar and specifically an adjustable track bar for your Jeep. Any time you lift a Jeep and you don't lengthen the track bar, you'll end up with the axle being slightly off center. And you'll notice that if you turn the wheel to the lock on one side without any problem but you turn it all the way to the lock on the other side and the tire rubs on the frame or on the control arm. Or, you might notice it when you're just looking down the side of the Jeep and one of the tires is sticking out a little further than the other. So, an adjustable track bar will allow you to completely re-center the axle under the Jeep. Another reason to get a new track bar would be if yours was bent or damaged off-road. When you have large tires and you're doing more hard core off-roading and rock crawling, there's always a chance that you could bend a track bar. Granted, chances are you're gonna bend a tie rod or a drag link first, but there is a chance that you could bend the track bar. Another reason for getting a new track bar is if the bushings are worn out on your current one. Again, having large tires is hard on steering components and having worn out track bar bushings is one of the leading causes of wobble and especially of death wobble. So a new track bar will fix that problem as well. If you're running large tires and you're driving down the road and your bushings are okay and you still have a little bit of wobble, there's actually a chance that your factory track bar is flexing just because of those large tires. Having a track bar that's this strong, this beefy and made of a forged material will keep it from flexing so you won't have any wobble at all. So like I said, this track bar is all about strength. The forged material means it's not going to want to bend or flex and that it's going to hold up really well for you. It is adjustable for Jeeps that have anywhere from zero to six-plus inches of lift. And it's adjustable with the sleeve on the vehicle, which means you can install both ends of it and make the adjustment to center the axle without having to remove one end, make your adjustment, and reinstall it. That's a really nice feature. And the adjustment sleeve is a DOM steel so it's not going to become a weak point for you. The whole track bar is black powder coated, which is a finish that's going to hold up well, so you're not going to end up with surface rust. It has this factory style bend in it which means it's going to clear your front differential all the way through the range of the suspension travel. The bushings that are on this track bar are a press fit rubber very similar to the factory track bar. When you compare this track bar to a factory bar you can really tell just looking at it how much stronger it is and how much beefier it is. And if you were able to pick them up and hold them side by side, you can tell that the Monster Trackbar is much, much more substantial. Between the additional thickness of the material and the fact that it's forged steel, it's gonna hold up, it's not going to flex on road or off-road. Getting the track bar installed on the Jeep is really straightforward because there are only two bolts. Once you remove those two 21-millimeter bolts you can take out the old track bar and put the new one in its place. If the new track bar doesn't line up in the bolt holes properly right out of the box, don't worry it's adjustable. Just loosen up the clamps and spin the adjustment collar to make it line up. Once you have the bolts back in position you can take some measurements and take a look at the Jeep to adjust the collar again making sure that now the front axle is completely centered underneath the Jeep. Once you're happy with where it is, just tighten down those clamps again so the adjustment collar can't move. The whole installation shouldn't take you more than an hour depending on how many times you remeasure and readjust to get that axle completely centered. And you won't need any specialty tools, just a 21-millimeter socket and open ended wrench. So whether you're replacing your track bar because it's worn out or bent or because you know it's flexing when you're going down the road under the force of larger tires, this is going to fix those problems. And in my opinion, it's well worth the price. So that's my review of the Teraflex Monster Front Forged Adjustable Trackbar for zero to six-plus inches of lift fitting all 2007 to 2016 JKs that you can find right here at ExtremeTerrain.com.

    Build. TeraFlex's adjustable track bar is constructed of high strength, forged steel with a D.O.M. tube sleeve covering the adjustable section of the bar. Protected by a black powder coat finish, this bar will remain rust free even after exploring the trails. The eyelet ends have press fitted, clevite rubber bushings, and the bar is optimal for 2 inch to 3 inch lifts, but works with stock height JK's all the way up to rigs with 6 inch lifts. This bar installs with factory hardware.

    Additional Info. This track bar is 230 percent stronger than stock, and eliminates flex found in the stock bar. TeraFlex designed this bar so as not to interfere with any of your Jeep's other components even with your suspension fully compressed or decompressed.

    Application. This bar is a bolt-on installation for 2007-2018 JK Wranglers. This bar accommodates Jeep's at stock ride height all the way up to 6 inches of lift.

        Does this trackbar work on right hand drive JK's? I seen a vidoe with Dennis from Teraflex saying they have a monster front trackbar made just for right hand drive jeeps is this the one or is there a different one?

        Can a Wrangler Unlimited that is primarily used for on-road driving with only a body lift benefit from the installation of just the Teraflex Monster front forged adjustable track bar? Also, would I need to purchase a bracket separately? I am still green and learning as I go . . .

        • The Teraflex Monster Front Forged Adjustable Trackbar, 0-6+ in. Lift (07-17 Wrangler JK) is going to be roughly 230 percent stronger than your stock trackbar, this will help to eliminate flex found in the stock bar. So you can find this of benefit from 0-6in of lift. TeraFlex designed this bar to not interfere with any of your Jeep's stock components even with your suspension fully compressed or decompressed so you should not need a bracket for proper mounting.

            Death wobble cured.

            I started having issues with wobble in the front and researched what it could be and low and behold it was the infamous death wobble. Purchased the trackbar and no more wobble. Easy to install took about 2 hours cause I had to do some alignment work but to get the trackbar on and in place wasn’t more than an hour. This should be the last trackbar you need for everyday driving and possibly all the off-roading you plan to do.

            Monster is right!

            2016 JKU 2” lift 35’s Bought this to go with the Teraflex HD Drag link and Tie-Rod kit. I have to say I’m impressed. Pick this guy up and you just know. Very well built makes the stock track bar look pathetic.

            Better ride and handling

            I put the upper and lower Teraflex Alpine adjustable control arms at the same time. Had front end aligned after install. WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE. I RECOMMEND THAT EVER JEEP LIFTED 4 INCHES OR MORE AND RUNNING 35 INCH OR BIGGER TIRES, GET THIS DONE. YOU WILL BE AMAZED

            Excellent product

            Had an easy install. Adjusting the track bar was rediculously easy. Much beafier than the stock track bar. Weighs a little bit more like around 18 pounds but I don’t mind that at all for what I’m getting. Highly recommend this product.

            Teraflex Monster Front Trackbar

            This is what I needed when my lift went in. I bought the rear trackbar too. If your lift didn’t come with an adjustable track bar, get this one. The adjustment was easy after installed. It seems it really helps when you have the front tires tracking straight behind the rear. The lift shifted the front axle a little to the left and the rear a little to the right. This made the Jeep really unstable in the rain. But this made my 2010 2-door really stable. My wife could tell it was riding better as soon as we started down the road.

            Teraflex HD Adjustable Trackbar

            This trackbar is really incredible. My local shop did the install and I noticed right away a better feel in the steering than when the jeep was new. I am running the Teraflex performance leveling kit with Fox 2.0 IPF shocks on stock tires and R18 rims. I have put the Havoc bumper with a winch and with the added weight I wanted to ensure proper handling. So if you are lifting your jeep or going with extra big tires watch the Teraflex video on this Trackbar on you tube and I'm sure you will be happy about the purchase
