Description
Precision Rear Axle. The 8.4-Inch Fabricated Rear Axle Housing is engineered to provide a robust and reliable foundation for your rear axle assembly. It supports the installation of Toyota 8" E-locker or 8.4" differentials and is designed to maintain ABS functionality while reusing all factory components. This housing ensures enhanced durability and alignment for improved drivetrain performance.
Construction and Appearance. Built from 1/4" thick ASTM A36 steel for the center section and featuring a 1/2" thick formed faceplate, this axle housing utilizes 3.5" OD DOM axle tubes secured by an innovative 3-point attachment system. The center section is CNC formed and machined after welding to guarantee a flush mount for the differential. The housing ships bare, highlighting the raw, high-strength steel construction.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and no additional drilling, as rear axle flanges are welded at factory width. It allows straightforward reuse of factory axles and components, facilitating a smooth upgrade.
Warranty. This product includes a 12-month limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Application. Designed specifically for the 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma, this axle housing fits the specified model years without exclusions or special conditions.
