Description
Rear Axle Housing Upgrade. The 8-Inch E-Locker Fabricated Rear Axle Housing is designed to replace the factory axle housing while maintaining compatibility with existing axles and differentials. It enhances durability and structural integrity for off-road and heavy-duty use, ensuring ABS functionality remains intact. This housing is ideal for enthusiasts seeking a strong, reliable rear axle solution.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured using 1/4” thick CNC formed ASTM A36 steel for the center section and 1/2” thick formed faceplate, this housing incorporates 3.5” OD DOM axle tubes secured by an innovative 3-point attachment system. The faceplate is machined post-welding to provide a uniform mounting surface, ensuring a tight, leak-free fit. It ships bare, showcasing robust raw steel construction designed for long-lasting performance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical expertise and does not involve drilling, as the axle flanges are welded at factory width. This allows for straightforward integration with factory components, including axles and differentials.
Warranty. This product includes a 12-month limited warranty covering defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.
Application. Specifically built to fit 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma models.
