Description
Enhanced Steering Dynamics. Experience improved handling and off-road dynamics by switching to the Locas Green Crossover Steering Kit from Steinjager. This steering system features a set-up where the drag link and tie rod independently connect to the passenger side knuckle. Steinjager designed this kit to provide your TJ with precise wheel turns and more stable ground dynamics. It also comes with heavy-duty components for long-lasting functionality and optimum performance that minimizes driving risks from unstable steering.
Premium Construction and Style. With Steinjager’s superior craftsmanship, this crossover steering system features precision-welded, DOM tubing with excellent structural integrity and high corrosion resistance to handle your Jeep’s rough off-road lifestyle. The 1.50-inch tubing is equipped with .75-inch, heat-treated, chrome moly ends for high-strength support for heavy-load applications. In addition, the Locas Green powder-coated finish keeps the tubing protected from harsh outdoor elements while giving your TJ’s rugged undercarriage a distinctive visual appeal.
Installation With Drilling. Installing this Crossover Steering Kit requires moderate mechanical skills. The Pitman arm and spindles need to be drilled out to 5/8-inch. The drag link attaches to the Pitman arm and to the passenger side knuckle, and the tie rod connects to the bottom of the spindles on each side.
Limited Warranty. A 1-year limited warranty against factory defects in materials and workmanship is offered by Steinjager for this Crossover Steering Kit. The products will be repaired, replaced, or refunded if found defective upon Steinjager’s sole discretion. Please check the terms and conditions for complete details.
Application. The Steinjager Locas Green Crossover Steering Kit is specifically designed for all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models that is lifted between 0-4 inches.
Note. It is recommended that you either have 4-inch or less backspacing and a minimum 16-inch rim. Factory 15-inch rims may rub the heim joints.
