Description
Premium Steering Upgrade. The Steer Smarts YETI XD Pro-Series Aluminum Tie Rod Assembly replaces and enhances the factory steering linkage on Jeep Wrangler JK models, improving steering precision and durability for both daily driving and demanding off-road use.
Construction and Appearance. This tie rod assembly includes forged medium carbon steel components, high strength 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum adjusters, and dual protective coatings—powder coat over e-coat—ensuring durability. The metal-on-metal ball joints feature heat-treated steel ball studs and steel bearings for superior wear and impact resistance, complemented by hardcoat anodized aluminum for corrosion protection.
Installation. Installation is straightforward using basic hand tools and a torque wrench, taking approximately one hour. This is a direct bolt-on upgrade requiring no drilling or vehicle modifications.
Warranty. This product comes with a limited lifetime warranty, underscoring its quality and durability.
Application. This tie rod assembly fits left-hand drive 2007 to 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models and requires a compatible 1 3/4" diameter damper bracket, which is not included.
