Description
Heavy-Duty Steering Upgrade. The Steer Smarts Yeti XD Dana UD60 No-Mod Bolt-In Steering Kit provides a heavy-duty, bolt-in steering solution for Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT models equipped with aftermarket Dana UD60 or Dynatrac ProRock 60 axles. This kit is designed to improve steering system strength and durability for off-road and demanding conditions without requiring axle modifications.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured in the USA, the system features cold-headed medium carbon alloy steel ball studs engineered for impact toughness and fatigue strength. The components have a powder coat over e-coat finish for corrosion resistance and durability. Tie rod and drag link ends use forged medium carbon high hardenability steel with 1 ¼ inch rolled threads and utilize reverse pin technology to prevent unwanted movement.
Installation. This steering kit requires moderate mechanical skill and basic hand tools including a torque wrench. The bolt-on installation process takes approximately two hours to complete and does not require axle drilling or modification.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 18-26 Jeep Wrangler JL.
