Design. The Rugged Ridge sports bar trail bag is a canvas bag that measures 15 inches by 9 inches by 7 inches. The bag can be used with both hard top and soft top version of the Jeep Wrangler. The canvas is heavyweight and tear resistant, while the straps that secure the bag in place are made of tough nylon. The zipper closures are oversized, making them easier to zip and unzip quickly in the field and in suboptimal conditions, with little risk of damage.

Storage Benefits. This bag provides a closed, safe spot to store many different items, from spare clothing and shoes to spare parts for the jeep, camping gear, other bags rolled up (such as the soft top storage bag), and practically anything else that fits inside. The large zipper offers easy access to place things inside or remove objects from the interior fast. Items are kept dry and dust free, and are bound closely to the roll cage to prevent being "rattled around" while wheeling.

Application. This canvas storage bag fastens quickly and securely onto the roll cage with its rugged nylon straps. Attachment and removal take a few seconds only. While attached, the bag does not block side visibility due to its relatively short 15 inch length.

    Good Purchase

I am very satisfied with this product. Quality material and construction. Ample space for storage. It does not interfere at all with the rear seat, however, it does somewhat interfere with the ability to fully recline the front passenger seat.

    High Quality Stuff Sack

I was looking for a bag I could put some sweatshirts and other stuff that you always find floating around your Jeep when I found this and thought I would give it try. I was impressed with the quality of the bag. It reminded me of cloth mechanics bag. With the web double D rings system for going around the bars to the heavy zippers used on the bag. I suspect it could hold a lot of tools very well, and would be a great place to put tools to make them easy to get from outside the Jeep. The one negative of the bag is the fit. It is a generic size so it will fit most jeeps. I have it mounted behind the drive seat to make for easy access when the top is down. It is floppy and would benefit from a second mounting point at the bottom of the bag.

A lot smaller then it looks in picture.

It looks sturdy, only time will tell. It is a basic canvass bag that sits securely between back and front roll bar. It is a lot smaller then the picture leads you to believe. It does manage to hold all my road side gear, ie extra tow rope, jump cables, flash light, flares etc. But is can't hold much more then that. It is not secure enough that I would feel comfortable leaving my controls for my wench and other things in bag on a daily basis. It would be good for just when I go out to hold things securely in place with off roading.

    They serve the purpose

Easy install, but once you add items into the bag it seems to sag quite a bit. Holds a good amount of gear, have recovery items in one and personal items, ie...water, rain jacket ect in the other.

    Great Trail Bag

This is a really convenient storage option for all of the loose items you usually just find in your Jeep. Takes advantage of the unused space above your rear fenders. The bag extends from rail to rail and is slightly shallower than I expected, but still roomy nonetheless.
