        Too Short, instructions are terrible

The wires are not long enough, so you are going to need more. Overall, It does what it needs to do with some modifications, but I have not made it to the store to get more wire to make this actually work. Also the instructions are terrible, so you better know what you are doing.

        Skimped on Wire

They’re targeting JEEP owners. We put lights on the roof, front bumpers, windshields... Jeep owners generally don’t run wires like the local electric company (exposed and hanging in the wind). So, why not add four more feet of hot/ground wire (for light end...an extra dollar’s worth)? I had to buy the harness and then buy some more wire for a simple front bumper install. (Now, I have an extra set up of connections.)

        Have connectors and crimpers handy

Like most other reviewers stated, this is a wiring harness with no instructions. However, plenty of folks have posted wiring diagrams that are helpful. You will need your own connectors to mate with the ones on the harness. I would also suggest getting some wire loom to protect everything. Overall, it took me about an hour and a half to get the wires routed/spliced.

        Two light wiring harness

It was easy to install once I figured out the wiring diagram. Works great. Took about 1 1/2 hrs to install. I posted a photo of a wiring diagram the I drew to help others.

Wiring Harness more like wires to build your own

If you are buying this to use with a fuse and relay box you have built then this maybe okay. if you are looking for a Plug and Play go see the guys at Inspired Engineering. the Harness from them is awesome and works with the Rugged Ridge lights for the same price. As for the Rugged Ridge Harness or wires with a few added stuff in a kit. It is not pretty you can make it work if you don't care what the underneath of your hood looks like. I was very disappointed with this product from such a big name company. a Harness is usually shrink wrapped to protect the wiring and help look good under the hood. works but do not recommend. I called Inspired Engineering and ordered one of theirs and I pulled the Rugged Ridge back off and I am selling it with some other brackets I have on a local site.

Beware of no instructions a bit confusing

The product works great and I have no regrets buying it. However, no instructions and very confusing luckily I had my mechanic install it. Otherwise, I would have been completely lost..

        Faulty Switch

The wiring was simple, but the switch that came in for my 2nd set of lights seems to be faulty.

Can I use this to hook up led fog lights in the stock holes if the Jeep originally had no fog lights?
