How to Install Rugged Ridge Hood Vent Cover - Black (97 Wrangler TJ) on your Jeep Wrangler

When removing the Rugged Ridge Hood Vent Cover from the packaging and handling the cover during installation. Be very cautious and hold the Rugged Ridge Hood Vent Cover with two hands. The cover is very flexible and can easily be kinked. 

1. Before

2. Remove the T15 screw from the center of the Hood Vent. 

3. Line up the new Rugged Ridge Hood Vent Cover, so that you can see where the Jeep should be cleaned and how the cover will fit.

4. Wipe down the area with Rubbing alcohol / Isopropyl alcohol and a Microfiber Towel.

5. Remove the adhesive backing tape.

6. Locate the Rugged Ridge Hood Vent Cover, using the center screw hole to align it.

7. Apply pressure to the areas of contact and install the new provided Philips head screw.

8. Installation complete.
