    5 Top Rated Questions

Hello! I have a 2.5" lift on my JKU. Would the 42" jack be suitable or should I go with a 48" one? Thank you very much in advance!!!

    • Hello, I would advise going 48" just to be safe.

can u use this as a standard jack to change a flat on the road, since my regular jack will not lift high enough?

    • Absolutely! Although it may not run the exact style as a traditional recovery jack from factory, this will accommodate for the additional height from your lift kit in order to change your tire.

      redrock 42 in recovery jack

good heavy duty jack does not rattle when going down the highway. i have it mounted on the rugged ridge hood mounts on my hood. the holes did not line up so in the top 3 holes of the jack had to take a dremmel and widen it so it would fit but other than that i like it.

      Doesn’t fit RR jack mount

Nice jack but the handle design extends back and it does not fit in a RR rear hinge mount jack

      Great recovery jack.

A good old fashioned design that is simple and works great. This is good for lifting a vehicle, pulling posts out of the ground, level a small building, and much more. It also looks cool on the hood of a Jeep :)

I haven’t actually had to use this for any recovery yet, but it definitely looks tough and in the future when I do need it I’m sure it will perform exactly how I need it too.

Review from RedRock 4x4 42 in. Extreme Recovery Jack - Red

      Great Jack

This is a great jack and for a great price. I bought on Black Friday for $39 and it is very easy to use. Had some issues with one of the jacks missing the bolt for the top jaw due to a destroyed package, but they got it to me separately. The jack is a little weak on the base if not properly secured. It's just basic leverage principles.

Great Jack, Great Price, Great Size!

I run 33's on my JKU so this jack is a great size. Mounted to the tailgate hinge with a Rugged Ridge mount. it hardly sticks up above the hard top. Price is right and shipping was quick!

      cheap non replaceable hardware

Had this lift for 2 years used it 2 times. piece of hardware bent, no replacement kit. Spend an extra $10 and get Hi-Lift product that can be fixed easily when needed. Extreme Terrain needs to offer more options for this category.

      Stump puller

I don't just use my Jack 4 vehicle work and Recovery. I use it for chores. I pulled up a stump 2 days after I got the jack and it worked great. I did apply a little bit of graphite powder to the mechanism to smooth it out a bit. Great product!

      Jack

Red rock extrem jack truly is not that much different from the jack I used growing up on the farm years ago;however, it is red and has a grip pad on the handle. I haven’t used it yet or even mounted on my jeep but will soon and it will look rad standing against my yellow jeep.
