Hello! I have a 2.5" lift on my JKU. Would the 42" jack be suitable or should I go with a 48" one? Thank you very much in advance!!!

        • Hello, I would advise going 48" just to be safe.

TIA! How does the 42" jack mount to the back of a 2018 JLUR? Need an accessory bracket to tie into the tailgate somehow?

        • At this time we do not offer a Jack mount for the stock JLUR tailgate. We do offer the Teraflex Hi-Lift Jack Mount Kit which will attach to the Mopar Tailgate Reinforcement kit.

can u use this as a standard jack to change a flat on the road, since my regular jack will not lift high enough?

        • Absolutely! Although it may not run the exact style as a traditional recovery jack from factory, this will accommodate for the additional height from your lift kit in order to change your tire.

What size hi lift jack for a 3 1/2 inch lift on my jeep wrangler.... thanks...Mike

        • Depending on your year and model Wrangler we would suggest 48" recovery jack, like the RedRock 4x4 48 in. Extreme Recovery Jack - Black found here: https://www.extremeterrain.com/redrock-4x4-48-extreme-recovery-jack-black.html with a 3.5" lift. If you'd like to go over with us the exact size you'd need based on your year, model, lift and tire size please contact us directly, our contact information can be found here: https://www.extremeterrain.com/contact.html.

            Amazing

A bang for your buck. A amazing buy. I love the color and easy to use. I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet but I have toyed with it and its easy to use and seems steady. I do have a friend who has a same one and he loves it and has saved him in sticky situations on the trails. Great product as always.

            TBD

Not bad for the price, even though I have not used it yet. I took away one star because the packaging was not enough to survive shipment and the paint job was already chipping away. It is a heavy product and the box was torn up when it arrived, so some small pieces (nuts/bolts) fell out which makes me wonder what else I may be missing. However, it is a jack and as long as it works then I'm happy. Do not get the Hi-Lift handle keeper, it will not fit on this one.

            Wouldn't recommend to a friend

Came very beat up, looks used. Haven't had it for more than a month and its already got rust all over it. Functions well despite the rust, and dents but would've liked it to come looking new.

            Great Jack! Love the color!

I looked everywhere for an all black jack and only Extreme Terrain had one! It was delivered in two days and I had it mounted on my hood within the weekend! I have not used the jack yet (weather has been nasty) but I love the aggressive look it has added to my Jeep! Highly recommend this product!

            Jack Review

Product looks solid and good quality, however packaging was the worst. Jack was just thrown in a box with no bubble wrap or wrapping to protect it. Received it with scratches and a torn boot on thumb latch.

            Nice Hi-Lift

It is a nice jack and is well constructed. The only issue I have is the paint chips off real easy. Nothing that can’t be touched up to prevent rusting though.

            RedRock 42in jack

Product is well made and heavy duty. Works great, I have it mounted on my hood. I had it on one way and it wasn't hitting my hood still but after driving for a bit, it would tap my hood which left a paint chip spot. It also started to rust a little bit but not noticeable. I had it on that same way and it blocked my windshield wiper fluid from hitting my windshield but once I flip it the other way, it looks great. Would recommend.

            Great product, just Late

Just bought this for my second Jeep. It's just like the last one. Works great! My only issue was, I ordered it and paid extra for next day shipping. I wanted it mounted before I left on my hunting trip. Well, 4 days later it showed up, while I was on my trip.

Review from RedRock 4x4 42 in. Extreme Recovery Jack - Red

            Who's watching quality control

Couldn't get the Jack handle to operate! The problem was the bolt that holds the handle on was too short! To get the Locking nut on far enough that would hold the Jack handle was pinched too tight. Had to put 1/4 inch longer bolt in so that nut would fit on properly and it didn't pinch the handle in that you couldn't get it to come down

            Good jack

The onky problem that I have with this set up is with the mounting hardware. The inner screw is just such a pain to get tightened down because there is so little room to get any tools in there.
