      Modern Handling for Your Classic Ride. Take your classic Jeep’s handling performance into the 21st century with the Rancho RS7MT Rear Monotube Shock for Stock Height. This rear shock is designed to work with your classic CJ5, CJ7, and Wrangler YJ, providing it with superior handling and damping for both on and off-road use. Specifically, this shock combines a monotube gas-charged design with deflective disc valving technology to deliver fade-free damping and more precise handling. Moreover, this shock utilizes an internal rebound bumper engineered to absorb vibrations when bottoming out, reducing harshness and giving you a smooth ride.

      Heavy-Duty Build Quality. This rear shock utilizes a 2-inch shock body machined from high-quality alloy for superior durability and ideal heat dissipation. Its piston rod for its part measures 14mm thick and is similarly machined from chrome-hardened steel for maximum strength. Rounding out its construction is a black powder coat finish, providing exceptional corrosion protection and rugged good looks.

      No-Nonsense Install Procedure. Installing this rear shock is a fairly no-nonsense procedure as it’s designed to utilize your Jeep’s factory rear shock location as its mounting point. No extra drilling or other modifications to your ride are needed, and installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
