    Review & Install Video

This is my review and installation of the OPR dual-axis replacement mirror assembly, fitting all 2007 and up JKs. Today, we're going to talk through the installation of this mirror assembly, which is a very simple one out of three wrench install. These are not powered. They are not heated. There is no wiring necessary. Two bolts will get these installed on your Jeep in about a half an hour, but we'll talk more about that install in just a second. These mirrors are going to be a little bit unique. They are a full replacement housing, but instead of just giving you two flat glass mirrors on the inside, this is going to give you those dual-axis mirrors. And what that means is you have a main mirror up here which is going to function very much like your factory mirror, and then you have a smaller mirror that's a little bit more convex in the corner here which can be adjusted independently. And what that's going to do is really eliminate any blind spots that you might otherwise have on your JK. Now, because that adjusts independently, this is not something where you can just take the glass and snap it into your factory housing. It really does have to be a full replacement housing piece like these ones are, and I think these are really functional. If you have a lot of blind spots, if you have problems backing up or changing lanes, I think this is going to be a really good addition to your Jeep. Or if you have a broken mirror and you are looking to replace it with a factory-style mirror that has a little bit of additional functionality, I think this is a nice option. As far as the construction goes, these mirrors are designed to look just like your factory mirrors from the outside. They install just like a factory mirror. As I said before, if you currently have a power adjustable mirror or a heated mirror, you are not going to get that functionality with these mirrors. However, if you're okay giving up that function for the dual-axis function, this is an option for you. You would just tuck those wires away and not use them anymore. Or of course, if you don't currently have that functionality, these are going to be an upgrade, adding some additional function. These are also designed to install very, very easily onto your Jeep. All you need to do is remove two bolts to get these bolted up. No major modifications necessary. So as I said before, it is a one out of three wrench install that you can get done in right around a half an hour. The first step is, of course, removing that factory mirror from your door, which you can do with a Torx bit from the inside of the door. Again, two bolts to remove and that mirror will come right off from the outside. If you do have power or heated mirrors, of course, you'll have to unplug them at this stage. After that, you just insert the new mirrors into the door, replace the factory hardware from the inside and you're finished. All you need to do is adjust your mirror and enjoy the additional viewing angles that you get from the dual axis.A pair of these mirrors come in at right around hundred and $150 and when you consider an OPR replacement mirror that is a single axis, just a regular flat glass, one side is around $55. You're getting a pair of these for $150. It's only a couple more dollars for the dual-axis functionality, which I think makes a big difference. If you've never driven a vehicle that has a dual-axis mirror on it, when you do, you'll wonder how got along without it before. It's definitely not a necessity, but it is one of those luxuries that you will miss after you've had it for a while, if you go back to not having it again. So, if you have trouble when you're changing lanes or parking, just seeing behind you with your standard, traditional mirrors, this is going to be a really nice upgrade for you. Or if you've broken one of your factory mirrors, whether it be on the road or on the trail, and instead of replacing it with a factory mirror, you want something that has some more function, I think this is going to be a great option. So that's my review of the OPR dual-axis replacement mirror assembly, fitting all 2007 and up JKs that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Perfect Replacement. Replace your damaged sideview mirror with one that looks just like the factory model. No one could tell the difference when you install the OPR Dual-Axis Replacement Mirror Assembly on your 2007-2018 Wrangler JK. The factory-style build and dark finish of this assembly is as close to the original model as you can get. This replacement assembly is made to fit with your Jeep's rugged appearance.

Quality Construction. Made with a durable plastic and completed with a black textured finish, this OPR Dual-Axis Replacement Mirror Assembly is designed to meet all OE standards of size, fit, and appearance which looks just like the factory assembly it's replacing. This is a very good way to get back the high quality vision aid that has gone missing or suffered so much injury that it is high time to replace it.

Easier Installation. Sideview mirror assemblies shouldn't take long to install. The OPR Dual-Axis Replacement Mirror Assembly takes approximately 30 minutes to install with minimal effort.

Application. The OPR Dual-Axis- Replacement Mirror Assembly is designed specifically as a direct replacement for the factory version on all 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models.

    • The OPR Dual-Axis Replacement Mirror Assembly includes two mirrors assembly, but will reuse the OE hardware for install. If you need new hardware we would suggest visiting your local hardware store.

      Love the duel axis!

Great clarity on the glass, you will have to use both hands to adjust. Moving the smaller mirror will move the larger mirror after you adjust so keep that in mind, but once you have them both set it's great! Back into a parking spot or adjusting yourself on a trail is effortless!

      Nice, but could be better

The overall product feels a little cheap, especially being on a Jeep. They work though and I guess that's all that matters.

      Product Improvement

These are far better then OEM Mirrors. First thing I noticed was how smooth they adjusted. Original mirrors required both hands to adjust. Small mirror is easily adjusted too.
