Adding a new shift fork to the transmission system ensures crisper, more responsive mode shifting from your classic Wrangler. Installing this part will restore the original functionality, and help you get every bit of effort out of your Jeep while enjoying smooth, reliable control.

      Construction. This Mode Shift Fork for the NP231 Transfer Case by Omix-ADA is designed as a direct replacement for stock part number 4338920. The shift fork and the shift shaft come pre-assembled. The mode shift fork has an inside diameter of 4.5 inches, while the shift shaft is 0.625 inches in diameter and 10.25 inches long. This part is Number 3 on the transfer case panel cover diagram. Made out of premium materials, this mode shift fork assembly is backed by a full 5 year limited warranty from Omix-ADA.
