Description
Tail Light Protection. The Round Tail Light Conversion Kit improves rear corner durability by recessing tail lights into the body, helping reduce damage risk on rocky or tight trails. It provides a cleaner and more protected rear tail light assembly, ideal for off-road enthusiasts seeking a trail-ready Jeep JK or JKU.
Construction and Appearance. This kit is fabricated from CNC formed steel to precisely match the factory rear corner contours. The components ship in bare metal form and require painting or powder coating to ensure corrosion resistance and a finished appearance. Stainless steel hardware is included for secure attachment.
Installation. Installing the conversion kit requires cutting and drilling the factory rear corner sheet metal, so moderate mechanical skills and appropriate tools are necessary. The installation process is permanent, as factory tail lights cannot be reinstalled afterward.
Application. Designed specifically for 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU models, this kit requires the use of 4 inch round grommet style tail lights. Additional reverse lighting may be needed depending on the selected tail light setup.
