      Tough and Thick

Love this Evap Skid Plat. My factory plate tour up my boot on my stock driveshaft. I trust that this one will not move towards the driveshaft for any reason. I also drilled new holes to pull it away from the driveshaft for extra precaution just in case the boot gets too close during flexing the 4" suspension lift. I was able to move it over by about 1" to 3/4". That should work just fine. Very impressed with M.O.R.E. products.

      Solid...

Bought this after smashing up my stock evap cover. Easy install, just cut the 2 short ends near the hoses vs. Undoing all the clips. Solid is all I can say, easy install took all of 30 minutes.

      Quick install. Fit great

The Evap Skid Plate by M.O.R.E fit great and took only a few minutes to install. Watched YouTube videos before trying to disconnect the lines. Haven't tested it yet but it look heavy enough to support the weight of the Jeep.

Review from M.O.R.E. Evap Skid Plate (12-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)

      Way the heck overbuilt!

This will protect your Evap canister from literally anything - you could probably use this as a friggin jack point. This thing is thick, heavy and super strong! Taking the lines off to remove the OEM skid is an incredible pain in the butt so be prepared to invent a few new cuss words as you try to pry those little pins out - but once that is done the plate slaps right on in all of 15 minutes (and is big enough at the end that you can service the evap canister without having to remove those lines again). Really, really great product. Highly recommended!

      Very well built, great design.

The m.o.r.e. evaporated skid is very well built. It came very well packaged as well. Installation was a breeze. Simple hand tools are all you need. Took me about an hour. I would caution that the factory clips in the evaporated lines, mostly the lower one, can break if your not every careful. Overall, a great addition to any jk protection package.

      Sturdy and tough

Took to an off-road park and rode rocks without any problem. A lot more tough than the stock skid. It took no time to install and would recommend to anyone looking for an evap skid.

Review from M.O.R.E. Evap Skid Plate (12-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)

      MORE EVAP SKID

I've had mixed feelings about MORE. Some of their skid plates are very challenging to install and not on par with competition. This however, is not the case with their EVAP skid. It locks into the frame using factory holes (no drilling yay!), and it is infinitely more sturdy than the factory EVAP skid plate. The hoses are hard to remove, especially if there is any kind of mud or dust on them. The little clamps on them break quite easily, as I learned. NAPA sells them for several dollars if you break them. After you install this skid plate, you wont have to take the hoses off of your EVAP tank if you need to work in that area (or take off the skid for whatever reason). The entire EVAP tank with wires can slide right on out once all the securing bolts have been removed. Very convenient. Would recommend this skid to anyone doing any kind of offroading involving rocks.

      Can you say "solid"

You will not know how flimsy the OEM one is until you take it off. Most difficult part is removing the lines, the clips that hold it on are a bit tricky. Used ramps on the rear and done in a jiffy. I suggest watching the you-tube video prior for some tips.

      Stout evap skid

This is probably the most well thought and strongest skid on the market. Very easy to install. I am sure it will stand up and nicely priced too.
