How does this install? Bolt to differential housing? Or u-bolts to axle?

            Doesn't fit, charged for return

2018 jk Rubicon Recon. This doesn't fit. I couldn't get it on, so I took it to my mechanic. He couldn't install it either. Rough country took the return but charged me the freight. The Rancho plate fit properly and installed in minutes by myself.

            Very robust

I didn't jack up the Jeep and it required 3 of us to get it on. Getting the screws onto the differential was difficult but after some effort we got it all done. It's very robust and took us 30 minutes to put it on. Jacking up the Jeep or using a jack to hold the skid plate up would have made this job much easier. Now I am significantly more confident in my next Jeeping adventure. I might upgrade my front differential skid with the Dana 30 version next summer.
