Stronger and Beefier. Equipped with a Dana 44 rear differential you would think your JK Wrangler could take on anything. However, the stock steel axle shafts are the weak link in the chain and are prone to bend or snap especially when larger diameter tires are installed. It is for this reason Mammoth manufactures their direct fit replacement axle shafts from 4140 chromoly to handle the extra abuse associated with serious off-roading.

4140 Hardened Chromoly. Mammoth manufactures their Dana 44 Rear Axles from hardened chromoly 4140 steel, which has a higher tensile strength than the factory steel shafts. The Axles are then completed in a black oxide coating for enduring corrosion protection.

Kit Includes. These Mammoth Rear Axles come complete and include driver and passenger side Axle Assemblies, ABS Rings, Wheel Bearings, Seals, and Wheel Studs.
