I'm Ryan from ExtremeTerrain.com, and this is my review of the replacement mirror fitting all 2007 to 2016 JK's. There's also a version of this that has a power adjustable feature and a heated feature if you have a 2011 to 2013 that had those features from the factory. These are for those of you who have a broken factory side view mirror that you're looking to replace, or those of you who have half-doors or tube-doors that are designed to accept a factory mirror, but aren't interested in moving your factory mirrors from your full doors back and forth. These will save you some money over those big name-brand mirrors on the market, and they'll definitely get the job done.As far as the way these are built and the way that they look, they're very, very similar to OEM mirrors which is exactly what they're suppose to be. They're a plastic housing with a metal mount, that are designed to mount in exactly the same way as your factory mirrors do. These ones are manually adjustable, and they're a little bit less expensive, but as I said before, if you have an '11 to '13 that has factory powered and heated mirrors, then you can get that replacement mirror for a little bit more money, and they'll plug right in.Getting these bolted up could not be any easier. The factory mirrors are held on to the door by two Torx bolts on the inside of the door. You don't even have to remove a door panel to get to them. All you need to do is open the door, remove those two Torx bolts, and then remove the mirror. If you do have that factory power option, you will have to unplug the wiring harness. Once the old mirror is out of the way, you can install the new one by first plugging it in, again if power is there, and then putting it into the door and replacing those two Torx bolts from the inside. The whole installation process shouldn't take you more than a half-hour. Even if you were doing a pair of these, I wouldn't expect it to take that long. You won't need any specialty tools at all. However, you will need a Torx bit, and there's a Phillips head screw on the bottom of this replacement mirror that you might want to tighten up so the mirror doesn't move when you're at highway speed. In my opinion, these mirrors are a really good value. Mirrors in general can be very expensive especially when you get into a power and heated mirror. But these will save you a lot of money over those bigger name-brands on the market. And by looking at it, no one would ever know that you replaced your factory mirror, and especially that you replaced it with one that saved you as much money as this does.So whether you're looking to replace a factory mirror that was broken on the road or on the trail, or you're tired of moving your factory mirrors from your full-doors onto your tube-doors, these will definitely get the job done, and they'll save you a lot of money over those big name-brand mirrors on the market. So that's my review of the replacement mirrors for all 2007 to 2016 JK's that you can find right here at ExtremeTerrain.com.
