Great and easily adjustable
The JKS trackbar is reatively easy to adjust and works great with my lift. It was also nice to not need the relocation bracket because of the adjustability. It’s a bit more than others but its way beefier than stock. An excellent choice for any lift.Helpful (1)

Heavy duty but very poor packaging
Glad I chose this over some of the others. I’d have given 5 stars but the shipping package for such a heavy item sucked and came torn open on one end exposing the grease fitting which got bent and scraped badly along with scratching up shaft itself. Didn’t have time to send it back but it still worked great. Not the first item I’ve gotten from ET that has come in badly Damaged boxes with parts hanging out.Helpful (1)

High quality replacement trackbar
This JKS trackbar is a big jump in quality and strength from the OEM bar and well worth the extra money. The frame side mount does require drilling out the tapered hole to 9/16" to fit the larger diameter mounting bolt for the upgraded pivot rod end. This will permanently modify the Jeep to not permit the stock bar to be reinstalled. I highly recommend this anyway due to the quality upgrade. Be sure to check all of your steering and ball joint systems for play and looseness to tighten your suspension and provide a safer vehicle to operate. Pros: - High quality upgrade with significantly more strength - This is the primary component to induce steering oscillation (death wabble) and is fixed with this part - Adjustable to fit small adjustments in height (larger tires, body lifts, small suspension upgrades) - Easy to install (3 of 5 wrenches difficulty) Cons - Must modify the vehicle permenantly - Adjustable locking nut does not stay tight and disengages on first test ride. Must use Locktite to secure nut - The axle mount side does not include a new replacement bolt. This bolt is a known issue on the Wranglers and should be replaced with a non-tapered shank bolt that is grade-8. A trip to the hardware store is highly advisable when upgrading this component.Helpful (7)

Is this Trac bar adjustable while installed, or will one end need to be unbolted to adjust?
This will need one end unbolted to adjust.
I have a 2" teraflex leveling kit on the front of 1998 TJ. And I plan on 3" lift kit in the future. Is this trackbar ok to use ?
This track bar is designed for total lifts from 1"-3.5" .
I have an issue with my RE adjustable track bar where it slaps the top of the diff cover upon compression at certain angles. Does this track clear the diff when the suspension is compressed? It appears as if it is bent to clear it, but I want to make sure before I purchase it.
This track bar is designed to clear the differential when compressed, when installed and aligned correctly.
the hole on the bracket on frame is worn do you need to drill a larger hole for this trackbar
Using a 9/16" drill brit you will need to enlarge the tapered mounting hole in the chassis rail bracket on the driver side.
hello i baught JKS FRONT ADJUSTABLE TRACKBAR FOR 1-3.5 IN. LIFT (97-06 WRANGLER TJ) a few months ago and i have now noticed that the driver side of the track bar is not longer in the neutral position.. it is angled down toward the ground toward the front of the jeep. any reason this could happen and what i should do?
The JKS Front Adjustable Trackbar may need to be loosened and have the driver side re- clocked in order to provide a neutral position at normal ride height.
Both of these trackbars would work with your 2.5 inch lift kit, one would not be better than the other since they both would work for your specific lift size.
