            way overkill

the stabilizer is way too stiff and is overkill no matter how big your tires are you don't need it. it shifts the whole steering to the left, and I'm using a brand new currie steering system.

            Firm and Smooth

Put the Fox 2.0 shocks all around so figured I’d match the steering. Happy with purchase as it has made steering feel firm and smooth. Good response all around. Easy install with a little effort to get arm to slide into coupling.

            Very smooth

The translation from the wheels to the steering wheel is exceptional, very smooth and increased the feel of the steering. Only issue I had was the fitment. On my 06' TJ, the bracket was to small for mounting and I had to use a crowbar and a bit of muscle to widen it enough for me to install the dampner. Overall awesome product.

Great Upgrade If You Have Extra Money

Most people will tell you that the fox SS is a bit overkill for an upgrade unless you have the extra money laying around and if you can't afford it but want to take the death wobble out then I would go for a cheaper alternative that will still get the job done. All in all the stabilizer makes the ride on the interstate and down back roads extremely smooth. You'll probably see people complain about it pulling the jeep to one side after installation...it will but you can also adjust the nitrogen level in this particular part to fix that. For installation purposes I recommend buying a can of PB and just go to town on all the bolts you have to take out. While all that is soaking in I recommend taking two large zipties and use them together to hold the SS in a compressed position. The main issue I had with this install was that the bracket was too small for the new stabilizer to fit in. It took me about 30 minutes with a crowbar and pair of pliers to bend the metal where I could fit the SS in and still get the bolt to go through.

Well built and made a noticeable difference. I have a stock 99 Wrangler and it handles better through turns.

            Much improved

My steering stabilizer went out and the Jeep started wandering all over the road. I picked up the local cheapo replacement to buy me the few days it took for the Fox to arrive. The cheapo got things back to controllable but the Fox got me back to smooth. Well worth the investment, immediate improvement at all speeds.

            Pretty but does not work.

Got this after installing lift and 33's for my Lj but didn't do any research. This is a nitrogen charged unit so works like your shocks. When installed your jeep will pull to left or right depending on what side it's installed on. On my Lj it mounts to right side do jeep pulls left cause it puts pressure out like a shock. So it's useless unless your ok with ALLWAYS holding the wheel to correct the pulling. Only way to fix this would be a dual setup and that doesn't exist so stock one works best.
