      Description

      Only For Use In Right Hand Drive Applications. Before purchasing, make sure that this product matches the driving position of your Jeep Wrangler TJ. Jeep manufactured the TJ with two separate driving configurations for sales across all domestic markets, these being right-hand drive and left-hand drive respectively. USDM model Jeeps are left-hand drive, meaning that the steering wheel is in front of the front left seat when sitting in the cabin looking forwards. This pitman arm is designed for use in the opposite configuration, where the steering wheel is in front of the front right seat when positioned inside of the cabin facing forwards. Considering differences in the components, this pitman arm is not applicable to LHD Wrangler variations.

      Replace a Damaged or Seized Pitman Arm. For various reasons, your Jeep’s OE pitman arm may become damaged and unusable. Whether due to corrosion seizing it onto the original steering gear during a gearbox replacement or physical damage from contacting an object, both scenarios require a new pitman arm. Additionally, many opt to replace the pitman arm during a gearbox replacement simply for ease of installation, avoiding the often difficult process of extracting the original pitman arm from the sector shaft.

      Direct-Fit, OE-Style Part. This pitman arm is designed to the exact specifications of your RHD Wrangler’s original part, ensuring a straightforward installation and a fit, finish, and functionality that meets or exceeds that of the OE pitman arm.

      Warranty. This product is covered by a 12-Month Limited Warranty against manufacturer defects.

      Application. This pitman arm is designed specifically to install onto the steering gear sector shaft of 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models equipped with a right-hand drive steering configuration.
