Description
Form-Fitting Protective Style. Keep the leading edge of your hood free from scratches, dings, and dents when you equip your Wrangler JL with the Aeroskin Matte Black Hood Protector. This hood protector covers approximately 4 inches of your hood from the edge inwards. This design, when combined with its durable construction, provides your Jeep with effective protection against typical road and trail hazards like flying pebbles, insects, and concrete chips. Additionally, its form-fitting style gives your front end an eye-catching aerodynamic accent.
Durable Build Quality. This hood protector is crafted from high-grade ABS plastic for durability and flexibility in a lightweight form. Furthermore, this material is injection-molded, following precise specifications, for an accurately fitting component. Lastly, this protector comes in a stylish matte black finish.
Easy Install Procedure. This Aeroskin hood protector features automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape pre-mounted onto its bottom surface, offering an easy peel-and-stick install procedure. Prior to installation, it is advised you thoroughly clean and dry the mounting surfaces before wiping down with the included alcohol pads. This is to ensure total adhesion of the tape to your Jeep. Also, it’s advised you first warm-up the mounting surfaces when installing this hood guard in cold weather as the adhesive is most effective in temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. This can be accomplished using a hairdryer or heat gun.
Application. This Aeroskin Matte Black Hood Protector fits all 2018 to 2024 Jeep Wrangler JL models.
Application Notes. Please do not drive your Jeep for 24 hours, and do not wash for 72 hours after installation. This is to give time for the adhesive to completely set.
