Get Some Rip and Snort. Set your Jeep Wrangler apart with this DV8 Off-Road Heat Dispersion Vented Hood - Unpainted. The vents on the top and sides allow hot underhood air to escape, and the styling gives an aggressive, beastly look that can’t be ignored. Let your bull blow off some steam while letting the neighbors know you don’t drive just any Jeep Wrangler.

Utility and Style. This DV8 hood works with the inside fenders to help duct hot air out of the engine compartment out the top and sides. Your Jeep will perform better and last longer. The style gives a take-no-prisoners edge to any Wrangler JK. DV8 includes an underhood insulation package that will cut noise and protect the outside finish.

Simple Installation. This hood uses the stock Jeep hinges and hold-downs for a factory-like fit. It arrives unpainted in a light e-coating that is designed to help protect the hood during shipping and storage.

        Awesome Hood

I haven't installed it yet but after reading the reviews I was really worried about getting this hood. There was a lot of people saying that it came with unfinished edges, dents, dings and scratches. Mine came in about two weeks, in a very sturdy cardboard box. The inside was padded to the max and the place holders for the additional parts did there job great. The hood arrived in PERFECT condition!! Ready to take to the paint shop for the old fashioned blackout treatment. I cannot wait to get it finished and installed on my Girlfriends Jeep so that I can order another from Extreme Terrain. It is worth every penny. I suspect that because so of the reveiws were bad because they order from someone else who didn't package their hoods as well as this one was. Who knows...just guessing.

The delivery was super fast, the packaging was really professional, just a tiny bent. My paint shop did not have to do any repair work before painting the hood. Honestly it worst the money, I LOVE THE LOOK OF THE NEW HOOD

I took my hood to a body shop they did the work of preparing it for painting (glossy black) and mounting the part. the result is beautiful with his now aggressive look. Love it! and everybody else too! ;-)
