Description
Build. This Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit works to improve the braking abilities of your TJ. These disc brake conversion kits are the ones that are used to convert Jeep vehicles with Dana 35 rear axles. They do this from drum brakes to disc brakes. You ought to improve your halting power using larger tires and wheels. The kit does not comprise of the cables or hardware for parking brake cables.
Advanced. The kit comes as a package and is designed to replace the original factory brakes with a direct bolt-in disc brake package for improved stopping power. It has dual drilled rotors that have been designed to accept 5 on 4.5 inches and 5 on 5.5 inch bolt patterns and calipers. It also accepts all necessary brackets to fit the Dana 35, Dana 44 and Chrysler 8.25 inch housings that are found in Jeeps. It also includes an internal parking brake for better grip/holding power. This brake conversion kit is usually used to convert a factory Dana 35 rear axle on vehicles that have oversized tires. Increased weight from bumpers and winches also contribute to this. These bolt-in kits work well for cars without ABS.
Installation. The installation is simple with a direct bolt-on design.
Warranty. You get a 2 year warranty for this brake conversion kit.
Application: This Dana 44 Rear Axle Disc Brake Conversion Kit is designed for all 1997-2006 Wrangler TJ models without ABS brakes.
