        2 Top Rated Questions

INSTALLATION OF THIS CHANNEL PREVENTS ME FRONT BEING ABLE TO SECURE THE HARDTOP WITHOUT REMOVING IT...IT DOES HAVE CUT OUTS, BUT THE WIDTH OF THE CHANNEL DOES NOT ALLOW ROOM FOR THE HARD TOP LOCK TO CLAMP DOWN. ADVICE? OR RETURN TOP AND CHANNEL AND TRY DIFFERENT PRODUCT?

My TJ currently has a factory hard top. Will this drill in windshield need to be removed to re install the hard top?

        • You should not need to remove this part to reinstall the hardtop as it goes around the Footman loop and latch locations.

Works best with Bestop Safari Top

I had another windshield channel and it could not properly hold the Bestop Safari top at the corners. At highway speeds it would let go of the top, but this channel secures the Safari top no matter the weather or speed. In addition, when it rains it channels most of the rain away from the cab. For the price and ease of use it gets five stars.

            Bikini top channel

I realize I bought the least expensive one but I didn't like how it was two pieces. Really had to make sure you were lined up right. And they were two short, i have a 1 1/2 space right in the middle that wind comes in and it whistles. But it gets the job down.

            Easy to install

Very easy product to install, just make sure you need this style and not the other style.
