Hey, what's up guys, I'm Ryan from ExtremeTerrain and today I'm here with the Smittybilt windshield header, fitting your '97 to '06 Wrangler TJ. That's going to be for the TJ owner that's looking for an affordable and quality header channel, to install with their bikini or safari top. This is a quick and easy to install header channel that's going to get your top up and on in no time. This this very well built and durable and it does its job just like it should. Now, this is a direct bolt on, so there's no drilling required as it just clamps onto your windshield channel. It is made of high grade steel for strength and has a black powder coating which is going to provide corrosion resistance and of course a sleek look. Now this comes as a complete kit ready to install and is currently your most affordable option on the site, at around $40. As far as install goes, I'm going to give it a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, since you can install this in about 20 minutes using basic hand tools. Now with that being said, let's hop into the install. So, we're going to use a half inch wrench to remove our clamps from the header channel and then we'll get the header channel on and the clamps installed. We're going to do the same thing for the other side. Once you have those clamps removed, you're going to slide the header channel over the top of your windshield frame. We're going to seat that down and then we'll reinstall our clamps. So, we're going to install our clamps with the hook side into our windshield from and then we're going to reinstall those bolts. We're going to leave this one loose for now and do the same thing for the other side. So with both our our clamps installed and our bolts finger tight, we're going to use that half inch wrench to tighten them up. Now, we're going to go back and forth between each side and we want to make sure that this header channel is firmly pushed forward and seats properly.
