Description
High-Performance Braking System. The Baer 6T Front Big Brake Kit with 13.50-Inch Rotors and Black Calipers is engineered to deliver superior stopping power and enhanced pedal feel for demanding off-road and street applications. This brake kit improves heat dissipation and resistance to brake fade, ensuring consistent braking performance under heavy use conditions.
Construction and Appearance. The system features a CNC machined 6-piston fixed caliper crafted from US sourced forged or billet aluminum with a durable black powder-coated finish. The rotor is a one-piece, slotted, and zinc-plated design with curved vanes for optimal cooling. Stainless steel pistons, abutments, and noise suppression clips provide longevity and corrosion resistance.
Installation. Designed for an OEM-style fit, installation does not require drilling or special modifications when used with OE front knuckles and hubs. This upgrade is of moderate complexity and suitable for experienced enthusiasts or professional installers. The kit includes mounting brackets, stainless braided brake hoses designed for stock-height vehicles, and all necessary hardware. Vehicles with lifted suspensions may require longer brake hoses not included.
Application. This brake kit fits 2007-2026 Jeep Wrangler JK and JL models. For JK models from 2007 to 2018 equipped with a 1.00 inch master cylinder, upgrading to a Mopar Performance Booster/Master Cylinder (P/N P5160050AB) is recommended for optimal performance.
