Hey, what's up, guys. Ryan here from ExtremeTerrain. And today I'm here with the ARB Ultra Lite Snatch Block, and it's gonna be for those of you that are looking for a heavy-duty pulley setup that you can just throw into your recovery gear, take with you for when you go out on the trails. Now, currently, this is coming in right around $111, which may seem pretty steep initially. However, I think it is well worth it. It's coming directly from ARB. ARB makes some really well-made high-quality products, something that is designed to take a beating and last you a long time. Now, there are a couple ways that you could use this and it would really come in handy. One is that directional pull. What I mean by that is anything that you would need to pull to the side. So, if you need to shift the back of your Jeep over, if you need to pull the front of your Jeep over, if you need to pull another Jeeper to the side, or if you're going down a trail, you come across an object such as a tree in the middle of the trail, what you can do is you can hook this up to a tree. So, you're gonna need a tree saver and you're also gonna need a D-ring to hook this up to a tree. And you'll be able to pull that thing from the side, something you wouldn't be able to do just using your winch and the winch line that you have. Another one is a double line pull. So, if you wanted to ease the load on your winch, you wanted to double your pulling strength, double your line strength, what you do, same thing, hook this up to a tree, then you're gonna run your winch line from your winch through this and then back to a D-ring on your front bumper. What that does, it halves the load, so it makes your winch a lot stronger than it is rated at, and it also eases the load on the motor and the line as well. It just makes it really easy to get yourself out even when you are incredibly stuck. Now, this pulley is a pretty cool design and there's a couple things that I like about it. Now, talking about the pulley first, this has a tapered design. Now, this is gonna work for a synthetic or cable, and it's gonna work for a variety of different thicknesses of those lines. So, it's gonna work from a 1/2-inch all the way down to a 1/4-inch, but it's pretty much gonna cover everything that you would have as far as a winch on the front of your vehicle. Now, the tapered design, what it's gonna do is it's going to keep that line inside of the pulley, and it's gonna make sure that it doesn't come out. Now, the pulley itself is made from press-formed carbon steel, and that's gonna make it a very, very strong part. Now, where the pulley rides, it has self-lubricating polymers. And what that's gonna do is it's just gonna increase the performance and heavy duty-ness of this pulley, and it's gonna increase the longevity as well. Now, talking about the casing right here, this is a split casing, so you can swing this around, load your winch line in there, put it back together, hook your D-ring through there, whatever you wanna do. So, the way this casing is designed is it's gonna keep your winch line from getting stuck in between the actual casing, the exterior shell, and that pulley as well, so that's another nice feature of this. Now, this pulley has a rating of 20,000 pounds total, which is gonna be plenty for any type of recovery that you're gonna do, no matter how stuck you get. Last thing you wanna do is take your winch line, wrap it around a tree, and hook it onto itself, because that creates a weak point. It's also gonna fray that line and it's just gonna cause breakages at some point in time. But overall, if you're looking for a pulley, you really wanna go with one of the best ones that we currently offer. I think this is a great option to go with. So, with that being said, that's gonna wrap up my review of this snatch block.
