HIGH-STRENGTH STEERING UPGRADE. The Apex Chassis 2.5-Ton Drag Link Assembly with Flip Kit; Steel is a robust, complete replacement drag link designed specifically for Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT models. It enhances steering reliability by utilizing high-quality materials and precision engineering to withstand demanding off-road conditions and maintain alignment under heavy loads.

CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This assembly features a housing made from SAE 1045 forged solid steel, CNC machined for exceptional dimensional accuracy. Ball studs are crafted from SAE 4140 hot forged chromoly, induction heat treated, and include rolled threads for enhanced durability. It is finished with a durable e-coating and includes CR rubber accordion boots for flexibility and environmental resistance. The hardware is Grade 8 Class 10.9 with castle nuts designed to prevent loosening under vibration.

INSTALLATION. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and involves drilling a 7/8” hole through the knuckle drag link mount for taper sleeve installation. Detailed instructions are provided to guide the process. No online resources or videos are referenced for installation.

WARRANTY. Covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects and premature wear when registered within 90 days of purchase.

APPLICATION. Designed specifically for 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL models, compatible with stock Dana 30 and Dana 44 front axles in the flipped top mount configuration. Not compatible with Dana 60 axles without modifications.
