Merideth: If you need to refresh your interior and add some useful storage space for the inside of your 2018 or newer JL Wrangler, this RedRock Door Panel Storage Kit will be a great solution. Now, this will come with four pieces in the kit that will mount the lower portion of your door right over it that mesh panel, which will add some space for any smaller items like glasses, your wallet, or really anything else that you want to keep track of. And these will also come with a straight cup holder in each of these storage panels, which I know is definitely needed, especially if you're used to having a Jeep full of passengers. Now, they also do a great job of just covering up the netting that tends to stretch out and wear down, and even hang down, which will offer a nice refresh to the inside of the Jeep. When it comes to the construction, these are very straightforward, they're made of an injection molded ABS plastic material, which will be durable and able to hold up for what they are. This will also have a nice OEM textured black finish on top, it is a light texture. It is going to blend incredibly well though with the rest of your interior if you're looking for something that's going to match and blend in. Now like I mentioned, these will be sturdy, each of them is going to have multiple tabs on the bottom, they will also be attached with some hardware that's included in the kit and automotive grade 3M tape on the back, so you can have some peace of mind that these are not going anywhere. Now, this is going to be a very affordable solution at roughly $75. Now, what I do like about this is that this is a more unique option compared to some other choices, and they're also going to have one in the kit for all four doors. Now, interior storage solutions can vary in location, including the center console, the dash, and any location really that you can find a spot inside your Jeep. But I do like that this utilizes the factory one and gives it a better look compared to what may be already mounted there like that mesh netting. Now, I personally think, again, if you're looking for a solid storage solution that's going to give you some decent storage space, for not only your small items, but any of your drinks or cups at a very affordable price point, then this is gonna be it. Now, install will be a super easy one out of three ranches on the difficulty meter, taking you no longer than five minutes to get the job done. Now, at this point, we can head over to the shop and check out a detailed breakdown of what the install looks like. That's gonna wrap it up for me. Let's go ahead and jump into it.Man: The tools you're gonna need for this installation include, a ratchet, electronic or regular, a T20 Torx socket, and alcohol wipe, or isopropyl alcohol with a cotton swab. How's it going, everybody? Today, we have front and rear door panel storage kits. I'm gonna show you how to install it step-by-step, so, let's get started right here at the front door. First step we're gonna take here is to grab some isopropyl alcohol. Now it doesn't come with a kit, so you'll have to source your own. You can use alcohol and cotton swab or just grab a wipe. And we're gonna be cleaning the area where our door panel storage is gonna be put into place. So, we're gonna be right here. So, I'm just gonna clean this area up nice and good. Then we'll let that dry before we go ahead and put our adhesive tape on. But in the meantime, let's go ahead and take out this screw right here. To remove this screw, we're gonna use our T20 Torx socket. All right. Now that our panel is ready to go, we can go ahead and grab our storage bin, peel the backing off the double-sided tape, stick it in place, and then put this screw back in. All right. So here is our storage bin, here is the double-sided tape. So, we're gonna take these off. All right. Once we have the backing off, go ahead and line up this bottom screw hole here with the one in our door panel. And then there's also a lip here as you can see, that's gonna go on this side of our trim. Just hold it there for a few seconds, make sure that the adhesive sticks nicely. All right. So, after about 10 or 15 seconds, go ahead and put this screw back in place. Next, optionally, we have our self-tapping screws here. So, if you'd like to, grab a drill with a Phillips head drill bit, you can go ahead and screw this into place right here to hold this upper portion of our storage panel in place. Now we won't be doing it for this demonstration, but just wanted to point that out to you that that is an option. Now for our rear storage bin here, you'll notice that it has tabs all along the bottom side and around the right and left sides of it.So, what we'll do is just stick those tabs in between the netting here and the trim, starting from the outside and working our way in. And that's the installation process for the driver's side. For the passenger side, we're gonna repeat the same exact steps. That's gonna wrap up this review and install of the RedRock Door Panel Storage Kit, for your '18 and newer Wrangler JL Four-Door. Thank you for watching and for all things Wrangler, keep it right here at extremeterrain.com.
