The Alpine 7-Inch Shallow-Chassis In-Dash Digital Multimedia Receiver is the digital multimedia receiver for your Wrangler JK that will expand your entertainment, navigation, and diagnostic horizons. Besides the standard AM/FM radio function, this multimedia receiver allows music and video playback via USB in a wide range of file formats. This allows you to play virtually any music or video in your library. What’s more, this receiver is Sirius XM-ready and is preloaded with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This factor allows you to use your smartphone apps for streaming music as well as navigation.
Superior Sound Quality. Besides being able to sync with your smartphone, this digital multimedia receiver features a built-in amplifier to level up your factory system’s sound quality. Specifically, this amplifier offers 16 watts of RMS and 50 watts of peak power output through 4 channels for music that comes alive. This multimedia receiver also features a 5-band graphic equalizer so you can fine-tune your music output.
Double DIN Shallow Chassis Design. This digital multimedia receiver uses a double-DIN design with a unique shallow chassis that fits into your factory radio’s hub. Furthermore, this device is equipped with a high-resolution full color display7-inch capacitive touch screen. This touch screen is both highly responsive and easy to read, which makes for easy navigation of its controls. The interface can be customized using several preloaded themes, making the user experience more fun.
Extra Safety and Vehicle Control. This multimedia receiver also includes a Bluetooth mic assembly, enabling hands-free control of your smartphone, ensuring you never miss an important call while driving. More significantly, this device comes with the iDatalink Maestro, permitting you to integrate your steering wheel controls with the device. This feature also allows you to monitor a number of your Jeep’s functions like engine performance data. Please note that the iDatalink Maestro will require programming on a Windows PC.
Direct Install Procedure. This multimedia receiver is designed to mount into your Jeep’s factory radio location without the need for modifications. Some disassembly of your dash as well as routing of harnesses will be needed. Other than these steps, installation is a fairly efficient procedure that’s completed, using standard hand tools and the included hardware.
