Cost-Effective Calibration Module. The AEV ProCal SNAP for JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator (2018+) is designed to accurately recalibrate your vehicle's speedometer after modifications such as larger tires or different axle or transfer case gear ratios. It plugs into the vehicle’s OBDII port and is programmed through the factory audio system equalizer, making adjustments simple without dealer intervention—an essential tool for off-road and customization enthusiasts.
Interface and Programming. This calibration module includes a programming harness that easily connects to the OBDII diagnostic port. Calibration data is entered using the factory audio system’s equalizer controls (bass, mid, treble) to match tire size or gear ratio changes, ensuring precise speedometer accuracy and updated Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) settings. Please note this module requires the factory head unit to function.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no advanced mechanical skills or permanent vehicle modifications. The module plugs directly into the OBDII port and is programmed via the factory audio controls. No drilling, splicing, or complex wiring is necessary. Manual transmission vehicles require additional programming at a dealership.
Application. This product is designed exclusively for 2018 and newer Jeep JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator models to ensure full system compatibility and functionality.
