If you have low mileage then you can probably re-use your carrier bearings and the carrier races, which means you can save yourself some money without sacrificing quality by using this kit. In fact, the Timken bearings are an upgrade, so why not take advantage of installing superior parts if you are going to do the repairs anyway?

      Superior to OEM. You only want the best in your Jeep the Yukon Gear Pinion Install Kit for Dana 44 Rear Differential uses high quality small parts so that you don't have to worry about your differential failing you. Timken bearings are used along with Timken races. Timken has been making bearings since 1899 so you know that they are doing it right.

      Installation Notes. Bear in mind that you need to be comfortable working on differentials and/or drivetrains in order to install this kit. Further, more than just basic tools and equipment are needed to complete the repairs.
