Description
Improve Fuel Efficiency. Replace your stock locking hub with Yukon’s Jeep Wrangler Locking Hub Conversion Kit. Designed to enhance the quality and durability of your vehicle’s stock parts, this kit makes your hub easier to service and reduces the amount of fuel your vehicle uses. It fits both Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles and comes with both a hub and inner axle shafts. The included axle stubs have 27 splines and the kit makes use of 5-760X U-Joints
Tough Steel Construction. Each part in this kit is made using engineers Chromoly steel. This makes it tougher and more durable than your stock kit, ensuring these parts last for as long as your vehicle does.
Professional Installation Recommended. Installing the full kit is a complex job that requires you to lift your vehicle and to understand how your axles work. The kit comes with all of the components needed to complete the conversion. However, professional guidance is suggested in most cases.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. Yukon is so confident in the quality of this kit that it offers a limited lifetime warranty on it. This protects against manufacturing and material defect for as long as you own the vehicle the kit is installed into. Note that this warranty does not transfer to the new owner should you choose to sell or gift your vehicle.
Application. The Jeep Wrangler Locking Hub Conversion Kit is designed for installation into 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ vehicles. Note that some early models of these vehicles use 5-260X U-Joints. These are smaller than the joints provided, meaning an inner axle replacement is required for these models to be compatible with this kit. The kit doesn’t retain your vehicle’s ABS.
Installation Difficulty. Expert mechanical skills are required if you wish to go the DIY route. The kit can take anywhere from 4 hours to an entire day to install, depending on your experience.
